    Rules of Play

    The Grand Prize:

    A Ford Mustang Rapid Red Convertible, with an MSRP of $54,659 (at the time of ordering)

    Raffle Ticket Sales:

    Ticket sales will commence at 7.30 am on Thursday September 7th, 2023, for the main prize draw, Car Raffle. Ticket sales will end at midnight Wednesday December 27th.

    Following the purchase of car raffle tickets, purchasers will have the option to buy into a 50/50 draw also.

    No raffle entries will be accepted outside of these dates/times. All ticket sales are final.

    Tickets:

    Tickets will be sold as follows ; 1 | $20, 3 | $50 or 8 | $100

    Eligibility:

    Must be 18 years of age of older and purchase a valid ticket. Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of a person under 18 years of age.

    Ticker purchaser must reside in the Province of Ontario, as per AGCO licence regulations.

    i. Tax receipts cannot be issued for ticket purchases.

    ii. A winner’s ticket purchase implies consent for the Rotary Club of Ancaster to release their name and likeness for promotional and official reporting purposes.

    iii. A valid numbered ticket is receipt and proof of purchase, which must be presented with a valid matching driver’s licence to confirm the main prize winner.

    iv. The winning ticket number, name and place of residence of the winner(s) will be recorded and announced immediately after the draw.

    v. Lottery winners will be notified by a Club representative or by registered mail as soon as practicable after each draw. Such notification will include information about the prize claim. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and claimed within six months of the draw date, unclaimed prizes will be donated to a then nominated beneficiary and as approved by the AGCO.

    Potential Winner Notification:

    The game involves the purchase of a virtual stub raffle ticket via an electronic raffle system (ERS) approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and operated by charitable gaming supplier Rafflebox Technologies Inc.

    The draws are conducted using an electronic raffle system (ERS) approved by the AGCO and provided by Rafflebox Technologies Inc.

    The winning tickets are determined by a random number generator software integral to the ERS. A neutral third party (that is, a person who has not purchased a ticket) will initiate the draw sequence using the ERS dashboard, on Thursday December 28th at the Rotary Club of Ancaster @ 12 pm. 385 Jerseyville Road W, Ancaster, ON

    i. Grand Prize will be drawn.

    ii. Prizes must be claimed by May 1st, 2024 by contacting the Rotary Club of Ancaster

    iii. Join us either in person at the Ancaster Rotary Centre or via live streaming to watch draw on our Facebook page

    Grand Prize Details:

    The brand new 2024 Ford Mustang Convertible, will be awarded on the following basis

    i. Awarded on an unconditional ownership basis inclusive of all taxes, freight charges, pre-delivery inspection (PDI) costs and dealer fees. Grand prize winner taking delivery of the car, is responsible for licensing and insurance from the time of delivery/ownership.

    ii. Prize fulfillment location:

    Delivery is Free On Board Burlington, Ontario @ Leggatt Discovery Ford, 850 Brant Street Burlington, ON, L7R 2J5

    iii. Prize will be accepted as awarded.

    Funding Transparency:

    Ancaster Rotary Club AM will be using the funds raised as part of the raffle program to fund community and youth projects in the Ancaster & Hamilton areas.

    Personal information is collected for the sole purpose of completing ticket sales, identifying ticket purchasers and providing information to purchasers about Club lotteries. Information, in whole or in part, will not be communicated to parties not involved in the conduct of this lottery.

    The personal credit card and transactional information are online with our provider Bump and is not provided to or held by the Rotary Club of Ancaster AM

    The lottery is conducted under a licence issued by the AGCO.

    In the unlikely event that the draw is postponed due to technical difficulty, power interruption, emergency or other unforeseen event, the Rotary Club of Ancaster will remedy the situation then conduct the draw and announce the winner at the earliest possible opportunity, with approval of the AGCO.

    50/50 Draw Rules of Play

    Tickets will be sold online using an electronic raffle system (ERS) approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and operated by charitable gaming supplier Rafflebox Technologies Inc.

    The draw is conducted using an electronic raffle system (ERS) approved by the AGCO and provided by Rafflebox Technologies Inc. The winning ticket will be selected by a random number generator software integral to the ERS from all lottery numbers sold for the draw. A neutral third party (that is, a person who has not purchased a ticket) will initiate the draw sequence using the ERS dashboard.

    Ticket sales will commence at 7.30 am on Thursday September 7th , 2023, in conjunction with the main prize draw, Car Raffle. Ticket sales will end at midnight Wednesday December 27th. The grand prize draw will occur Thursday December 28th at the Rotary Club of Ancaster @ 12 pm. 385 Jerseyville Road W, Ancaster, ON

    Tickets prices are: 5 for $10, 20 for $20, 100 for $50, and 250 for $100.

    After buying car raffle tickets, patrons will be provided by option to purchase 50/50 draw tickets, their 50/50 registered numbers will be from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.

    There will be one ticket drawn. The amount of the 50/50 prize will be determined based on the number and value of tickets purchased.

    The winner receives 50% of the total dollars of 50/50 Raffle ticket sales.

    The winning ticket number will be published on the Club’s website and social media accounts.

    The winner will be notified by mail, email, or phone within ten days of the draw and provided instructions on how to redeem their prize(s).

    Prizes must be accepted as awarded and claimed within six months of the draw date, unclaimed prizes will be donated to a then nominated beneficiary and as approved by the AGCO.

    Ticket purchasers must be in the Province of Ontario and at least 18 years of age at time of ticket purchase. Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of persons under 18 years of age.

    Upon verification of the winner’s identity and age, via a scan of a valid provincial or federal photo identification card (i.e., driver’s license, passport, etc.), the winner will be sent payment by cheque.
