Ancaster Community Services (ACS) is a community-based, volunteer-powered registered charity, which has served the residents of Ancaster since 1969.

Programs and services like the Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, Frozen Meals, Volunteer Driving and Shopping 4 Seniors are offered to support families, individuals and seniors.

We also support local youth through our Babysitting Course and other youth engagement initiatives and volunteer opportunities.

As demand continues to rise, Ancaster Community Services is so grateful for the generous donations that make these programs and services possible.

If you would like to learn more about the work that ACS does in our community and the growing needs of the agency, especially the food bank, please check out their website for more.

WHERE BIG DREAMS BEGIN

What started in Hamilton as a weekend drop-in session for a few dozen kids has grown into multiple programs serving thousands of children and youth of all ages.

CityKidz programs are a stable force of love and support for kids from before they can read until well after they’ve written their final high school exams. We teach our kids that they matter, that they are loved, and that they can change their future – and with it, the world.

Your support:

  • Creates safe spaces where children can thrive

  • Fosters caring, trusted relationships

  • Opens doors to life-changing opportunities

  • Builds resilience and confidence

  • Empowers children to dream big and achieve their full potential
